U3A Music Club today at the Friends Meeting House, Cambridge. The Morisot Piano Trio played a programme, ‘Aimez-vous Brahams’, comprising the Cello Sonata No. 2 in F major, Op.99 and the Piano Trio No.1 in B major, Op. 8. Mihai Ritivoiu, piano, Amarina Wierdsma, violin, and Yoanna Prodanova, cello, make up the Trio.
What is the protocol for taking photographs at concerts? I guess you don’t at formal affairs – I hope it was excusable at the Club. Even in that environment it’s probably not done to get up and start prowling around. The challenge is to get a picture from wherever you happen to be sitting and to do so with the minimum of disturbance to immediate neighbours. Nobody complained.
