Early coffee in Café Nero this morning. Market stall holders unpacking; punt touts about their business; Tourists converging on King’s Parade and snapping the sights. Then me with half an hour to kill and trying to avoid the bookshops where I shall be too tempted to add to the unread pile by my desk.
At EAT the staff were about their business. A dark suited customer filled the chill air with the eastern scent of a joss stick.
