Mitcham's Models Project, Cambridge 151209-5Back by popular demand (see post 24th July 2014), Mitcham’s Corner is once again playing host to a number of colourful mannequins as part of a community art project aimed at celebrating its diverse culture.

Mitcham's Models Project, Cambridge 151209-4The 2015 project, Words Around the Corner – organised by artist Paddy Manion – is all about bringing poetry to the area. Body parts of around 10 mannequins have been placed in shop windows, with each model emblazoned with words from poets such as Alan Buckley, Lorraine Mariner and Nick MacKinnon.
