Postcards From Great Britain

Near Bait’s Bite Lock, Waterbeach, Cambs, 2017

Further to posts on 28/11/19, 14/2/20 and 15/3/20, I’ve submitted five more photographs to Shutter Hub’s Postcards From Great Britain project. They look at people using the outdoors. My accompanying text says: The UK has a comparatively high population density, behind only the Netherlands and Belgium among major European countries.  Any wonder then that people seek out parks, gardens and commons, places of trees, space and fresh air in which to relax.  They don’t have to be remote and rugged, just somewhere free of crowds, traffic and the stresses of urban living.  These pictures look at how people occupy and enjoy these diverse spaces.
