Lots of practical advice about: equipment and how to use it; dressing comfortably for the conditions; selecting the viewpoint and catching the light in the golden hour; knowing and respecting your subject (field craft); ‘portrait’, action and semi-abstract pictures; and minimal post processing. Also the need for patience and a seeing eye. Nice pictures with lots of oohs and aahs. The Amethyst Deceiver, Laccaria amethystine, was a minor revelation.
