Watching

When we were children in the 1950s we would be taken occasionally to the seaside in Norfolk or Suffolk.  It was usually on a Sunday and as we returned in the evening people in the villages we passed through would bring out chairs and sit at the front of their houses watching the cars go by.  This is a house clearance, not a sign of nostalgic traffic watching
