I don’t think I’ve seen a trace of a hut underneath the bank of the River Ouse before. I guess it has been by the river for a long time because it has collapsed and the corrugated iron hast deteriorated so much. Thoroughly misshapen roof gives it quite a graphic shape. I found myself reflecting on its history – how many owners and users (legitimate and not), and what for, why here, why was it abandoned, who owns it, and now what………….? (With apologies to ???)
