Classical Comparisons 4

The four pictures posted here are an example of how the figures from the Anglesey Abbey gardens will be shown, in this case Diana the Huntress.  A description of the god and the statue will accompany the pictures.

Diana (Roman) or Artemis (Greek) was the goddess of hunting, and variously of the moon, chastity, fertility and nature. Cypress trees were sacred to her. Daughter of Zeus and Leto.
