Half a day at the RIBA Library looking at Edwin Smith photographs from 1930s.  Interesting insights into subjects, e.g. small projects on Church Farm Approved School and Princess Mary Village Homes School, and technique, e.g. struggles with exposure and processing and occasional use of 35mm half frame. Shows how partial the published selection of material is from this period.
