Further to previous posts, revised copies of Travels and Epiphanies have arrived. They show some improvement on the previous version, but still don’t match the original ‘proof’. I guess this demonstrates the problems of getting total consistency with this type of printing/publication and I’m now resigned to accepting it. With no offense to Blurb, this confirms to me how this process still lags some way behind traditional methods in terms of image quality. Yet it is a good way of bringing pictures together in a coherent way and getting multiple copies. And certainly better than a lot of e-files sitting in a computer.
