Ambivalent Auras – Comment

Diana, Anglesey Abbey

I sent copies of Ambivalent Auras to the General Manager at Anglesey Abbey and the Director of the Museum of Classical Archaeology.  I’ve received kind comments from the former (below) and await a response from the latter.

Dear Brian,

Thank you so much for the copy of Ambivalent Auras, which you kindly sent to me. I was delighted to hear that the statue collection here at Anglesey Abbey has brought you so much enjoyment and inspiration. I will take time to read your book and share it with colleagues at the Property.

One of our goals is to join-up the historical narrative at Anglesey far better in the future, so that the House, gardens and statues are presented in a more comprehensive way. This is not an easy task but we will take great heart knowing that the existing collection brings so much pleasure to visitors like yourself.

I hope that the book is well received by all who have been sent a copy.

 Congratulations on it!

 Martin Beaver
