Beddingfield Arms

Who is this figure loitering in the garden of the Beddingfield Arms, Oxburgh?  A young Robert Plant or maybe hints of John Lennon?  And why the four-faced Janus, smiling at the inn and scowling at the 16th century church of St Joh the Evangelist?  What do the other faces express?  All maybe no more than adverts for the Arms’ sister company After the Antique.
