The preceding six photographs were made during a walk along Fleam Dyke, a distance of just over a mile, on 22nd December 2024. The sky was heavy with clouds beaten along by a strong, chilly westerly wind. There was winter foreboding in the air. Then at the end a reward, a benediction: the sun broke through flooding the fields with a raking light.
