I’m reading On Instagram – David Hurn (Reel Art Press 2024) – lots of fine photographs and valuable insights. He writes about a lock-down project to photograph his house. I’ve just finished my ‘Journey Round My Room’ project, in the 18th century footsteps of Xavier de Maistre (see post 5th November 2023). While I was having today’s first coffee the sun cast a new set of shadows on my sitting room wall. Perhaps the project isn’t finished after all.
