Shutter Hub: Flora and Yellow

Two calls for submissions from Shutter Hub.

‘…FLORA, our next Shutter Hub Editions photobook … dedicated to the celebration of life, growth and organic beauty found in the natural world. …photography that explores the diversity, resilience, subtleties, and poetry of growing things – from mosses and ferns to wold forests, blossoms, vines, roots, and every form of vegetation in between. …images that show us the nuance of growth, the patterns of nature’s processes, and the quiet power of plant life in all environments. …the delicate unfurling of a leaf at dawn, the tenacity of weeds in concrete cracks, or the timeless cycles of seasonal change in remote landscapes.’ Deadline 11th June 2026.

‘The Colour Library is a curated series of photo books exploring the emotional, symbolic, and visual power of colour. Each edition is a visual exploration and celebration of one colour, showcasing its presence, symbolism, and emotional range across different photographic styles and perspectives.  Our next edition is a dedication to yellow. Bright and joyful, energetic and optimistic, but it can also be a sign of caution, a warning.  What does yellow mean to you? It can be radiant or haunting, loud or barely there. How you showcase the colour yellow is up to you. From bold monochromes to subtle glows, conceptual pieces to documentary moments, we want to see a wide range of creative expressions and invite you to share them with us for … the Colour Library: Yellow.’  Deadline 16th July 2026.
