A new call for submissions from Shutter Hub.
We all like love, don’t we? But what does it look like to you?
Sometimes it comes with lust and desire, sometimes with deep rooted care from the heart, and other times it’s a disguise for something that isn’t love at all. Are we all looking for love? Are we afraid of love? What does it mean when we say we love something?
Our next stop in our re-imagining of some of our favourite themes from the last decade is 2015’s Do You Like Love?.
Whether love is something you chase, fear, remember, or celebrate, Do You Like Love? is an open-ended question, with a plethora of answers, and we’re inviting photographers to submit their work for our next Shutter Hub Editions publication and let us know what love looks like to them. The book will be available to buy worldwide, with several stockists across the UK.
We’re making this opportunity affordable for all photographers. There are no set entry fees, but we’re asking you to ‘pay what you can’, with a minimum donation of £10. Please help support the work we do by sharing this opportunity with other photographers too. We intend it to be a showcase for the photographers involved. We will promote it heavily across our networks, make it available to purchase in a variety of locations as well as directly from our online shop, and it will be held in national archives around the world.
100 images will be selected for inclusion in the book. You can enter single images or a short series of images, up to 10 images can be entered per photographer.
Deadline: 13 November 2025 (5pm UK time)
