The assignment this week was street photography, with or without pets. I chose the with pets option; and adopted a liberal interpretation of street to include a café and a bus, which are semi-public spaces.
Tim also posed a question to members of the forum: what you intend to do differently as a result of attending this year’s photo forum? Adding: if there is nothing that you’d change in your photography practice as a result of attending that begs the question, what was the point? Two main points emerged:
- Take more photographs – the phone is often a more than adequate camera.
- Have a clear aim – work on projects (large or small), rather than just taking random photographs.
