A new call for entries from Shutter: ‘Everything You Need to Know’.
In 2019 we showed the work of around 100 photographers in our exhibition at Cambridge University, EVERYTHING I EVER LEARNT.
Now, in response to that exhibition, we’re creating an online visual encyclopaedia, EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW, welcoming photographers’ views on the world, on life and death, and everything in between.
Six years on and a quarter of the way into the century, we’re older, maybe wiser. The world has changed, we’ve changed, and we know – things aren’t always as they seem.
What have we learnt, seen, wished we could un-see or un-do? What’s been kept from us, revealed, uncovered? Where is the beauty, the humanity, the reality? Share it with us.
We’re inviting photographers to share work from their own varied practices, to show us what they want the world to see. Thoughtful, thought-provoking, inspiring, enlightening, philosophical, responsive, responsible – images for people and planet.
Deadline for entries: 03 April 2025 (5pm BST).
